Grace Auria Skysong

I started sketching for this around... 4:30 AM, and finished at around 9:47AM, and probably would have finished it in a much shorter frame of time, but I tend to multitask and switch between activities. 

This is Briena's younger sister Grace, born when Briena was ten years of age. She takes after they mother in appearance and temperament, though bears the pointed ears of their father's race. As Briena's sister, she stands as the Princess Regent, trained to stand in her sister's place when Briena is out of the kingdom, or unable to rule (illnesses, yaw).

This has to be my best work in digital painting so far. I was flying by the seat of my pants here, going without references, and it turned out even better than I was expecting. I've found my sweet spot position for the tiny Wacom Pen and Touch tablet, at last.

I used one of 's hair brushes to great effect for Grace's hair (Thanks so much! These worked very well.)
